We are Emerald City Squad.
Emerald City Squad is a Science Fiction Based Costuming group located in the Seattle WA, Shoreline & Lake Forest Park area. Our group consists of many different Sci-Fi characters from Movies, Books, Films and Characters designed by our members. Some members have cannon and non-cannon costumes from films and movies, this means they are replicas with creative additions or changes. This costuming organization was originally started as a Star Wars costuming group however the ECS decided to expand our various costumes to include all those in Science Fiction novels and films. Although we do have other Sci-Fi costumes, the majority is of Star Wars characters and thus the Emerald City Squad has decided to keep our original symbol on badges and clothing.
The ECS is a Non-Profit Organization that can be requested for appearances at various events. A few examples of what the ECS does are as follows: Visiting schools, Promoting Events, Visiting Hospitals, Parties, Comic Cons, Short Fan Films Etc... To request an Appearance by the Emerald City Squad please see our 'Request Appearance' page above.
Our Organization gladly accepts new members and would like to make clear, there is No Membership Fees. To find out how you can join the Emerald City Squad and start Trooping with us today please see the 'How To Join' page above and follow instructions on how to apply for membership with the ECS. New Members will receive a Badge/Sticker to attach on armor or costume. In addition to the events the Emerald City Squad does, our group members meet occasionally for fun random appearances in public and get-together's so our members are better aquatinted and get to meet outside of Trooping.
The Emerald City Squad does not attend events outside of the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area.
